Opportunities

Title :Laboratory Technician

Key Responsibility

Perform assays on human blood samples as per experimental protocols following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and Good Clinical Laboratory Practices (GCLP).

Tasks

* To isolate and freeze cells from peripheral human blood and perform cell count
* To perform cells staining, flow cytometry data acquisition and ELISA assays
* To perform basic general laboratory work (solution’s preparation, etc.)
* To work with samples in a level-2 confinement laboratory (HIV and HCV infectious samples)

Requirements and Qualifications

* Technical College Degree (DEC) in Laboratory Technology
* Minimum one-year work experience in cell culture - working under a biological safety cabinet in sterile conditions
* Minimum one-year experience within a GLP/GCLP work environment
* Experience in flow cytometry techniques (staining and acquisition) and ELISA assays are a plus
* Fluent in English and in French

* Meticulous and strong organizational skills
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member or independently as required
* Working knowledge of Microsoft software’s
* Available for occasional evening work and weekend work

Job Summary

Job Type : Full time
Work Schedule: Day and occasionally evenings

                                       - possibility to work on week end for a short period of time, in function of the projects
